The picture shown in this ad was taken at the Sage Hill School in Southern California. www.sagehillschool.org This project incorporated Alaskan Yellow Cedar (AYC) for its arbored walkways. The lumber grade utilized was Select appearance yellow cedar ( which is a knotty appearance grade), and the lumber was purchased from Bear Creek Lumber. When constructing thethe exterior portions, they were not stained or painted, and weathered to a natural light grey. The interior portions are not shown here, but they are still vibrantly yellow. The bottom picture in the middle is showning Alaskan Yellow Cedar (AYC) paneling, and Douglas Fir boards wrapping a beam. Again, the location is in Washington State. |
